“For as long as I can remember, I’ve been enchanted by the beautiful homes showcased by international real estate agents. The dream of having a place of my own abroad has been with me for years, a vision that keeps calling me back. And I know that one day, the moment will come when I finally take the leap and make that dream a reality.”.
— Otto Krijnen
Over the past ten years, we have explored countless places in southern Italy. Yet time and again, our hearts were drawn back to Le Marche – especially the southern stretch between Ancona and Pescara, with its enchanting towns like Grottammare, Offida, Ripatransone, and Ascoli Piceno.
Here, we discovered the essence of Italy itself: welcoming, authentic, and beautifully untouched.

From dream to reality
At the end of 2015, we decided to make our dream a reality. In early 2016, we purchased a 5,000 m² plot of land in Cossignano with an old ruin on it. After much preparation, the reconstruction of an authentic building began in October 2019, which we transformed into a modern, luxurious holiday home.
In September 2024, we welcomed our first guests to Casacamini – our holiday retreat of over 300 m², designed with a refined rural charm, polished concrete floors, a private saltwater pool, and a breathtaking 180-degree panoramic view. From here, you can gaze out over picturesque villages such as Carassai, Montefiore dell’Aso, Montalto delle Marche, and Moresco.

And the name: Casacamini?
The name is a playful nod to both our house and its location. Camini is Italian for chimneys or fireplaces – and our holiday home features a mirrored fireplace both inside and outside, overlooking the rolling hills. What’s more, Casacamini is located in Contrada tre Camini in Cossignano.
